Ranveer Allahbadia has approached Supreme Court seeking protection from muliple FIRs filed against him over his controversial remarks during his appearance as a guest on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent.
The complaints, lodged across different countries, accusing him of making distasteful commentary that sparked public outrage to which Ranveer approached the SC to club multiple FIRs lodged against him.
Sr. Adv. DR. Abhinav Chandrachud reprenting Ranveer Allahabadia’s , highlighted urgency of the matter stating, ”I want to mention a matter of urgency, this is a matter of critical listening, this is a writ solicitation filed under composition 32 and not multiple fir’s have been filed across the country. The urgency is that the guwhati police have directed him to appear.”
In response bench ruled that they will not allow Oral mentioning and directed them to file the application and matter will be listed in next 3 days.

Ranveer Allahbadia, who lately featured as a judge on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent, sparked widespread outrage on his “ Incest Jokes ” on the show.
A clip of the YouTuber went viral on social media, where he can be seen asking a competitor

The episode which alse featured popular influencers Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Mukhija. As the videotape surfaced online, it led to a shower of review, with netizens calling out Allahbadia for the unhappy commentary. intelligencer and lyrist

Social media druggies abused Allahbadia and other judges over inappropriate remarks stating,

Speaking to the media, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said he had n’t watched Allahbadia’s clip but came to know it was “ Veritably Vulgar ”.
On February 10, Mumbai police has initiated the investigation against Allahbadia over his distasteful remarks.
